IDENTITY STATEMENT

Grounded in our Josephite traditions, St Michael's Primary is an inclusive rural Catholic school where the child is at the heart of all we do. We nurture the whole person to foster deeper learning, responding with faith and courage in a compassionate and connected community.

VISION STATEMENTS

At St Michael’s Primary, we strive to:

  • Live the Gospel values, following the example of Jesus.
  • Nurture the whole person – socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child is valued.
  • Encourage curiosity, resilience, and creativity through challenging opportunities and risk-taking.
  • Foster deeper learning that inspires growth, confidence, and faith.
  • Build a compassionate and connected community, grounded in our Josephite traditions.
  • Empower students to discover the meaning of community by contributing with hope, love, and justice to our world.

St. Michael's Primary School provides a child-safe environment, where all students have the right to be treated with respect and dignity, and will be protected from harm.

The Sandhurst Catholic Education Office and Schools acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which their Offices and Schools are built. We commit to working in partnership with Aboriginal people for reconciliation and justice.
