School Information

2019 SCHOOL FEES

At the School Board meeting on Thursday the 13th of December, the school fees for 2019 were set. The  Family Fee & Curriculum expenses were increased in line with directive of the Sandhurst Catholic Education Office. The elements of the 2019 School Fees are explained below:

Child Fees

Curriculum

Covers all curriculum expenses including books, stationary and classroom supplies. Includes resources for specialist subjects including Languages, Science, Art, Drama, Music and Kitchen Garden. The curriculum fee also includes a technology levy which covers the leasing and updating of student technology resources.

Camps, Excursions & Swimming:

Covers the Grade 5/6 Camp, Grade 3/4 Camp and the Foundation/1/2 Camp Experience. Included in this is swimming fees which includes swimming sessions in Term Four. All costs of excursions and sporting events throughout the year, including buses and admission are also covered in this section.

Family Fee

Family Fee:

Fee per family that contributes to the total costs of operating the school and its educationalprograms.

We would like to remind families that these are the total costs for the 2019 school year and there are no other additional costs throughout the year for excursions, buses or events.

Payment of Fees

There are several options available for the payment of school fees including a lump sum, termly instalments or regular payments throughout the year. However, we strongly recommend the use of Direct  Deposits into the school account to assist with the payment of school fees. Payments can be made on a regular basis, with payments going directly from your account to the school account. Please contact the Office to confirm the details for the Direct Deposit payment option.

Financial Hardships

Families experiencing financial hardship and wishing to apply for fee assistance can contact the office and request a Fee Assistance Application Form. Please note that considerations for fee assistance can only be make through the process of completing a fee assistance application form followed by a meeting with the Principal. All applications are strictly confidential.

The St. Michael's Primary School Master Plan was developed during 2011, being completed and released in 2012. The Master Plan addresses all areas of for the future development of the Schools Buildings and Grounds.
